You may have heard about efforts to help those in the community who are living rough or going through a very difficult time and find themselves without a home or in dire straits.
Your local community Foundation has partnered with the Denmark Homeless Project and the Denmark Community Resource Centre to coordinate emergency relief for those facing extremely challenging circumstances.

How your donation will help:
Your donation will be used to provide vouchers for food, firewood, gas, food, clothing from op-shops as well as toiletry kits to those who need it.
Who else is helping?
The Denmark Hardship Fund is coordinated by a group of local volunteers with support from the Denmark Community Foundation and the Denmark Community Resource Centre (CRC). The CRC has made shower and washing facilities available as well as staples they have purchased through Foodbank.
Local volunteers have donated home-cooked meals, home-made beanies as well as bedding and clothing where they’re needed.
Can I cancel or change a recurring donation?
Absolutely. We understand circumstances may change and there is no long term commitment on your part.
You are 100% free to change anything you like, any time at all.
Simply contact us with what you’d like to do (e.g. cancel the the recurring donation, change the amount or change which fund it points to) and we’ll do the rest.
