Denmark Youth Fund
Young people can find it really hard to manage the challenges life throws them, particularly if their home life isn’t the best. They might feel like they don’t have the support of their parents or guardians, or they might feel completely alone. They could be facing homelessness or experiencing a crisis.
And there are local families who are having trouble making ends meet, meaning young people are missing out on pivotal training and development opportunities that most of us take for granted.
This is why Denmark Community Foundation created the youth fund – so that you can support the young people of Denmark who need a helping hand.
Who does this fund support?
The Denmark Youth Fund supports young people in the Denmark community aged 12 to 25 years who need support to work through a crisis, are facing homelessness, or need help to overcome financial barriers to access pivotal training and development opportunities.
What support does this fund provide?
Denmark Community Foundation partners with Youth Focus Great Southern, Denmark Community Resource Centre and Denmark clubs and businesses to provide access to much needed local, confidential crisis support, assistance to overcome homelessness, training to improve work prospects and access to activities that improve mental well-being.
Is a donation to this fund tax deductible?
Yes, donations to this fund are tax deductible.
What administration fees are deducted from my gift?
As Denmark Community Foundation is run by volunteers and doesn’t have any large overheads (such as rent), 100% of your gifts after any credit card processing fees go towards supporting our young people.
