In November 2022, the Board of DCF launched a new strategic plan for the Foundation with a refreshed focus on delivering improvements across four goals.

1. Strengthen our Community by supporting initiatives that reduce social isolation; provide emergency relief in times of crisis, and; encourage local economic activity.

2. Strengthen our Relationships by developing effective stakeholder relations

3. Strengthen our Foundation by growing the Fund, and our membership; expanding our charitable status to DGR1, and; enhancing our marketing and promotion.

4. Strengthen our Governance through enhanced board capacity; sustained and sound governance practices, and; the implementation of a robust grants management framework.
