Musicians' Fund
Despite being a small town, Denmark has a big heart for music. We all love coming together to enjoy making or listening to quality live music, but often there’s considerable or prohibitive costs involved. This is why Denmark Community Foundation has partnered with Denmark Baroque to create the Musicians’ Fund.
Who does this fund support?
The Musicians’ Fund supports professional musicians in Denmark and the Great Southern who are delivering, for the benefit of our region’s residents, quality musical education and services, or staging fine music events and performances.
What support does this fund provide?
Your gift will directly support regional professional musicians who are providing musical education or staging participative events and performances in Denmark and the Great Southern. Examples of the type of activities that might be supported include:
- Public programs and events produced by the Great Southern’s many community choirs, school music programs and local orchestral ensembles
- Larger-scale, locally produced programs and events such as concerts, operas, workshops, music camps and festivals
Is a donation to this fund tax deductible?
Yes, donations to this fund are tax deductible. Â
What administration fees are deducted from my gift?
As Denmark Community Foundation is run by volunteers and doesn’t have any large overheads (such as rent), 97.5% of your gift after any credit card processing fees goes towards supporting music in Denmark and the Great Southern.
